Our cabins are located in Albany Wyoming. A late 1800’s mining and timber town which has developed into one of the premier multiuse summer and winter recreation areas in Southeast Wyoming. Located 35 miles west of Laramie Wyoming, this small town (population 15) is located at the edge of the more than 600,000-acre Snowy Range recreational area of the Medicine Bow Routt National Forest .

WINTER RECREATION For snowmobilers, there are 166 miles of groomed trails and 136 miles of ungroomed but signed trails, while cross-country trails cover 164 miles within the Snowy Range. The Snowy Range Ski Area contains 150 acres of downhill skiing. Snowshoeing can be had in all varied types of terrain.

SUMMER RECREATION Backpacking, hunting, fishing, hiking bicycling, off road vehicle(ORV) riding, photography, and hiking can be experienced just minutes away from Albany. There are 2 wilderness areas as well as roadless areas for the seclusive. Elk, deer, antelope, moose, bighorn sheep, bear, mountain lion are examples of big game that can be found within the area.
